ISLAMABAD (PEN) – The people got a slight relief from cold and dry weather as several parts of the country received light rain.
The twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad received light drizzle while Murree witnessed snowfall after a long time in this winter season.
Meanwhile, rain and snowfall remained continued in parts of Azad Kashmir, Swat, Kalam, Malam Jabba and some other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast that the snowfall will remain continue during next two days.
Meanwhile, temperature also decreased in Lahore as it was recorded between 11 and 16 degrees Celsius on Sunday due to clear and sunny weather for last two days.
The provincial capital is likely to witness rain from January 31.
