ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The Pakistan China Vocational and Technical Institute (PCV&TI) in Gwadar will send its faculty members to China for a 6-month training program in March. The Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology, one of the four stakeholders, will host the visiting faculty. The institute recently hired 16 teachers in various fields and approved its operational roadmap during its first executive body meeting. The federal government has allocated a budget of Rs 240 million for the fiscal year 2023-24 to support the institute’s operations. Once at full capacity, the institute aims to generate jobs and cultivate technical and professional experts within the local community.
