LAHORE (PEN ) : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s nominated Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said the people of Punjab have given a clear mandate to the party and it would set record of people’s service.
Talking to the media after the parliamentary party meeting, she said that the new government would have to work for women in Punjab besides giving loans to the youth.
She added there was no IT city in the whole country so the PML-N would make five IT centres where the youth of the country would be able to learn the modern technological use.
She also pledged to attract foreign investment besides working on the providing basic facilities to the people including clean water.
On the administration front, she vowed to work for the traffic system improvement, model police stations, police culture reforms, facilities for women and safe city projects.
She said the death, marriage and car certificates would be available at the doorstep.
She said in 2015, Nawaz Sharif made the first health card in which there was never any complaint of corruption and the PTI’s health card has given rise to a major story of corruption.
Maryam Nawaz said the new candidates are part of the PML-N family and it is an honour of being the first woman CM which I attribute to the women of Pakistan.
Earlier, she presided over a session of the PML-N’s parliamentary committee in which the members of the party expressed confidence in her leadership.
