LAHORE (PEN) : A supplementary budget of Rs358 billion has been approved by the government of Punjab in the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday.
With the start of the assembly session, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, taking a ‘positive’ step visited the opposition benches and met the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) leader Rana Aftab Ahmed.
Afterwards, the supplementary budget was presented and approved. The session was adjourned for an indefinite period.
Sources said the assembly members of SIC have decided to participate in the next parliamentary session with black bands on their arms.
