ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan’s exports to China saw a significant surge of 42.02% in the first eight months of the fiscal year 2023-24 compared to the same period last year, totaling US $1895.720 million. However, on a month-on-month basis, exports decreased by 31.05% in February 2024 compared to January 2024. Overall, Pakistan’s exports to other countries also increased by 10.15% to US $20.537 billion during this period. Imports from China rose by 14.72% to US $8105.831 million, with a year-on-year increase of 90.63% in February 2024. Nevertheless, on a month-on-month basis, imports experienced a slight decrease of 2.65% in February 2024. Overall imports into Pakistan decreased by 8.76% to US $34.079 billion.
