Deputy PM Ishaq Dar commends China Three Gorges Corporation’s role in Pakistan’s energy sector

ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar discussed renewable energy’s priority status in Pakistan and incentives for international investors with China Three Gorges Corporation’s Executive Vice President Wu Shengliang in Beijing. Dar praised the corporation’s projects in Pakistan, highlighting Karot and Jhimpir as exemplary. He also emphasized Pakistan’s reform agenda and opportunities for foreign investment in infrastructure and renewable energy. The corporation expressed commitment to hasten completion of ongoing projects like Kohala and Mahl Hydro Power Projects in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
