ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang reiterated China’s unwavering support for Pakistan across various cooperation fronts, encompassing economy, trade, and investment during discussions with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Beijing. Emphasizing the significance of expedited execution of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects for mutual growth, both sides committed to bolstering the robust Pakistan-China relationship. Deputy Prime Minister Dar conveyed condolences for the Shangla attack and pledged a zero-tolerance stance against its perpetrators, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of Chinese workers. He also commended CPEC’s advancements in energy and infrastructure, expressing optimism about Phase-II yielding favorable outcomes in industry, agriculture, and mineral sectors. Additionally, deliberations on enhancing connectivity via the Khunjerab border crossing and streamlining visa procedures featured in the meeting agenda.
