ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal chaired a review meeting on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Phase 2 and the 13th Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC). Attendees included senior officials and representatives from various ministries. They were briefed on the upcoming online JCC meeting, discussing projects in communications, infrastructure, energy, economic development, agriculture, and the security of Chinese personnel in Pakistan. Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the priority of Chinese personnel’s safety, the urgent commencement of the ML-1 project bidding process, and the finalization of the Mineral Corridor agreement, instructing intensified efforts and sub-working group meetings with Chinese officials.
