ISLAMABAD (PEN) : In a tragic incident, at least 10 police officers were injured when their vehicle overturned in Naushero Feroze,.
The incident occurred in Bhiria City, where the police vehicle carrying the personnel overturned, resulting in injuries to 10 officers who were rushed to a nearby hospital.
In a similar incident, five police officers were martyred and three others injured when their vehicle overturned in Hub. The accident happened near the Wandar Dubai Mosque when a tire burst caused the police vehicle to lose control and crash, claiming five lives and injuring three others. The injured were taken to District Headquarters Hospital, according to police officials.
In a separate incident, three police personnel were injured in a hand grenade attack on a police vehicle in the Sachal area of Karachi. The SSP stated that a hand grenade was allegedly hurled at the police vehicle, injuring three officers. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported.
Prior to this, unidentified men hurled a hand grenade at SSP’s squad in Dera Murad Jamali, Naseerabad. SSP Naseerabad Hussain Lehri was returning from a routine patrol with his squad when the grenade exploded. Thankfully, no one was injured.
The police, CTD, and bomb disposal squad quickly arrived at the explosion site and cordoned off the area.
