ISLAMABAD (PEN) : A group of 19 officials and experts from Pakistan attended a two-week seminar in China, organized by the China Center for Urban Development, focusing on economic cooperation and poverty alleviation. The seminar covered topics including China’s urbanization, industrial poverty alleviation, food security, smart agriculture, and rural public services. Participants visited Guizhou Province to observe China’s poverty alleviation efforts, including traditional handicrafts and rural revitalization projects. They discussed progress in their own regions and explored future cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. The attendees expressed gratitude for China’s insights and felt more confident in addressing their country’s development challenges.
