ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has committed to revitalizing Pakistan’s economy by adopting aspects of China’s economic model, aiming for similar success on a smaller scale. During a meeting with a Chinese delegation, he emphasized the significance of industrial cooperation and joint ventures as key to mutual prosperity. Sharif highlighted opportunities in areas like agriculture, IT, mining, and special economic zones, and announced free visas for Chinese citizens to strengthen ties. The visit of the Chinese delegation, representing various ministries, is expected to enhance bilateral collaboration and provide expert input on sectors critical to Pakistan’s economic growth. The Prime Minister also assured the safety of Chinese citizens in Pakistan and expressed sorrow for past incidents of violence.
