This operation, driven by the Pakistani government and supported by military leadership, aims to restore economic stability and is now yielding tangible results. Over 83,000 individuals involved in power theft have been apprehended, and substantial financial recoveries have been made.
In August alone, authorities collected over one billion rupees from electricity thieves across cities such as Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, and Islamabad, highlighting the crackdown’s effectiveness in addressing this critical issue.
