ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has honored Arshad Nadeem, the gold medalist in javelin from the Paris Olympics 2024, with a heartfelt recognition.
During a special meeting in Mian Channu, Maryam Nawaz congratulated Nadeem on his remarkable achievement. She awarded him a generous cash prize of 100 million rupees and presented him with a car to celebrate his historic victory.
After the event, Maryam Nawaz flew back to Lahore via helicopter, having met with Nadeem.
In addition, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended an invitation to Arshad Nadeem and his family to the Prime Minister’s House for a special dinner. They will be flown to Islamabad with full protocol to attend the dinner hosted by the Prime Minister.
