ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Information Adviser, Barrister Saif, sharply criticized Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for attempting to infuse a religious dimension into her administration.
Reacting to the Chief Minister’s recent remarks about running Punjab according to the principles of Hazrat Umar, Saif accused Maryam Nawaz of making empty claims. He challenged her to govern based on a legitimate mandate rather than what he called “Form 47.”
Saif argued that Hazrat Umar’s leadership was grounded in rule of law and justice, in stark contrast to what he described as the Punjab government’s disregard for these principles. He also highlighted the Sharif family’s alleged involvement in the Model Town tragedy, accusing them of corruption and a lack of integrity.
