ISLAMABAD (PEN) : In a recent episode of their YouTube show, Pakistani actor-turned-producer Yasir Nawaz playfully proposed a rather unconventional idea: that women should be legally required to arrange their husbands’ second marriages after 15 years. Yasir, along with his wife Nida Yasir and his brother Danish Nawaz, hosts the show, which features a new celebrity guest each week.
During a light-hearted chat with comedian and TV host Salman Saqib Sheikh (aka Mani), the conversation touched on various aspects of marriage, including the importance of personal space and the dynamics of sharing a room. Yasir humorously suggested that couples should stay in the same room, even if there are quirks like snoring or disagreements, because it strengthens their bond.
The conversation shifted as Nida speculated that the guys might have a different solution in mind, leading to Yasir’s jest about a legal requirement for second marriages. “If the wife doesn’t arrange the second marriage after 15 years, she should be jailed,” Yasir joked.
Nida responded with a witty remark, saying, “Jo garajtay hain wo baraste nahi” (barking dogs seldom bite), adding a touch of humor to the playful exchange.
Their banter reflects a blend of humor and affection, showing how they navigate discussions about relationships with a light-hearted approach.
