ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Aayush Shukla has achieved an extraordinary milestone in T20 International cricket by bowling an entire spell of four maiden overs against Mongolia, conceding no runs. This remarkable feat places him among an elite group of bowlers in T20I history.
Shukla is only the third bowler ever in T20 Internationals, and the fourth overall, to complete all four overs as maidens. The only others to have accomplished this in T20I matches are Canada’s Saad Bin Zafar and New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson. Additionally, Indian domestic player Akshay Karnivar achieved a similar feat in the Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2021.
In T20 matches, bowlers can bowl a maximum of four overs, which means Shukla’s entire spell of 24 balls without conceding a single run is a testament to his exceptional skill and precision. His achievement highlights not only his individual brilliance but also his ability to maintain focus and consistency throughout his spell.
