ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the next 24 hours will bring mostly hot and dry weather to most parts of the country.
However, residents in Potohar, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa might see some isolated rain, wind, or thunderstorms on Wednesday.
As continental air dominates, much of the country continues to experience hot and dry conditions. Yet, a shallow westerly wave is influencing the northern regions, which could bring some rain and thunderstorms.
In the past 24 hours, scattered thunderstorms were reported in Northeast Punjab, North Balochistan, and Kalam. Turbat recorded the highest temperature, reaching a sweltering 44 degrees Celsius.
