ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Minister for SAFRON, Kashmir Affairs, and Gilgit Baltistan, Amir Muqam, highlighted the strong, comprehensive partnership between Pakistan and China, built on trust, economic cooperation, security collaboration, and cultural exchange. Speaking to a Chinese business delegation led by economist Yuan Jianmin in Islamabad, he emphasized the historical economic and cultural significance of the Pak-China border region. He encouraged investment in Gilgit Baltistan, noting its potential to boost economic growth and regional connectivity. The delegation expressed interest in the construction of a Special Economic Zone in Gilgit Baltistan.
