ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Balochistan’s Local Government Minister, Sarfaraz Chakar Domki, passed away after a prolonged illness.
According to family sources, Domki had been under treatment for lung and kidney disorders at a private hospital in Karachi for the past 10 days.
Sarfaraz Chakar Domki will be laid to rest in his native town of Lahri, family sources confirmed.
He was a seasoned politician and a respected tribal figure, having been elected to the Balochistan Assembly from PB-8 Sabi on a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ticket.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed deep sorrow over Domki’s death, describing him as a shrewd and reliable politician who played a vital role in both the political and tribal dynamics of the province.
Provincial Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti praised Domki’s positive contributions to Balochistan’s political landscape.
Domki was an active member of the Balochistan Cabinet, and his sudden demise has left a void in the province’s political and tribal affairs.
