ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Multiple gunshots were reported near former President Donald Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, while he was at the venue. According to international media, Trump was on the golf course at the time.
Steven Cheung, Trump’s campaign communications director, confirmed that Trump was golfing when the shots were fired and assured the public that Trump is safe following the incident. No additional details about the situation have been provided.
Earlier this year, on July 14, a video surfaced showing a similar alarming situation. The footage, released by Fox News, captured Trump speaking at a rally in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, when gunfire erupted in the background. The incident occurred the day after a gunman opened fire at the rally, tragically killing one person and critically injuring two others.
The video, which quickly went viral, showed Trump pausing mid-speech as the sound of gunshots filled the air. Reacting swiftly, Trump grabbed his right ear and dropped to the floor. US Secret Service agents immediately surrounded him for protection and quickly escorted him off the stage and into a waiting vehicle.
These unsettling events highlight the serious threats faced by public figures and the rapid response of security teams to ensure their safety.
