ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Sher Afzal Marwat on Monday announced his intention to lodge a case against the Inspector General (IG) of Islamabad.
In a media briefing, he stated that the Islamabad Police must provide evidence for the allegations they have made against him, adding that if they fail to do so, he will proceed with legal action.
Marwat also expressed frustration over the police’s handling of his case, claiming that several of his personal belongings, including cash and a power bank, were not returned following his detention.
The PTI leader criticised the police’s conduct and emphasised the need for accountability, saying that she expects the police to substantiate their accusations or face legal consequences.
