ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The Islamabad High Court (IHC) addressed Imran Khan’s plea to halt his anticipated military trial, ultimately deciding to dismiss the application.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb presided over the hearing, where the Additional Attorney General clarified that no formal decision had been made regarding Khan’s trial yet. He suggested that the legal process would unfold naturally if any steps were to be taken. The attorney also mentioned that any potential case would first be brought before a civil magistrate before moving to a military court.
After considering the arguments presented, the IHC concluded the proceedings, putting an end to this particular legal challenge for now.
