ISLAMABAD (PEN) : A new rain system is expected to enter Pakistan today, prompting the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Punjab to issue a weather alert.
According to the PDMA, widespread rainfall is predicted in most districts of Punjab, with the possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms lasting until October 1.
The cities expected to be affected include Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, and Lahore.
These areas are likely to experience cloudy skies accompanied by gusty winds and heavy rain.
