ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Yousuf Raza Gilani, emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation, with China as its top partner. Speaking at an event launching reports on Chinese companies’ impact in Pakistan, he praised their contributions to the national economy through job creation, infrastructure development, and boosting local production. Gilani highlighted the transformative role of CPEC in reshaping Pakistan’s energy and infrastructure sectors, noting that the next phase would focus on further expanding cooperation in agriculture, technology, and industrial growth, while fostering trade and investment opportunities.
