ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan and China reaffirmed their strong strategic cooperative partnership during a delegation-level meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the deepening ties and emphasized mutual support on core issues. They committed to the high-quality development of CPEC’s second phase, urging the timely completion of projects in industry, agriculture, IT, and science for Pakistan’s socio-economic growth. The discussion also covered relocating Chinese industries to Pakistan and increasing investment, while reiterating the importance of maintaining close consultations on regional and global matters.
