ISLAMABAD (PEN) : As many as 15 Fortune Global 500 companies are looking forward to showcasing their cutting-edge technologies and further expanding their market by participating in the Trade in Services exhibition at the upcoming 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE).
Covering an area of 30,000 square meters, the Trade in Services exhibition area attracts familiar faces, including the Big Four global accounting firms, and newcomers like multinational company Swire Group.
Themed “Green and Low-carbon Development, Stable and Strong Chains, and Digital and Smart Future,” the exhibition area features exhibits ranging from supply chain services to consulting and financial services. Its goal is to provide digital, integrated and low-carbon management solutions for the global supply chain, promoting a collaborative and green transformation of the industrial chain.
Companies such as DB Schenker, a division of the German rail operator, and Dun & Bradstreet, a U.S.-based commercial data and analytics firm, are poised to share business opportunities at the expo by introducing their advanced services.
At DB Schenker’s exhibition booth, participants can closely examine the company’s logistics and transportation solutions, which encompass air, sea, rail and contract logistics.
In the context of the logistics and supply chain industry’s digital transformation and upgrading, these solutions aim to help China’s logistics market build a collaborative, efficient, green and low-carbon future, thereby facilitating the development of industries such as automotive, consumer retail and aerospace.
Dun & Bradstreet will launch ChatD&B, the first global generative AI assistant that provides instantaneous and actionable business insights on companies and enterprises at the expo.
With this AI assistant, users can quickly access relevant information about business entities through natural language conversations, aiding businesses in making reliable decisions across various aspects, including customer engagement.
Additionally, global air service provider Cathay Pacific Airways will debut its newly released cabin products in the mainland market for the first time at the expo.
The introduction of these advanced services and AI products underscores the expo’s role as a magnet for attracting foreign companies and investments.
Zhou Xing, head of public affairs at PWC China, stated that PWC is “punching the clock” at the expo. He noted that the company has achieved fruitful results after attending the expo for six consecutive years and will continue to serve as a bridge for professional services, promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises in more fields as they participate for the seventh time.
As a new exhibitor, Jacqueline Jiang, chair of John Swire & Sons (China), expressed hopes to better share China’s high-quality development opportunities and explore new paths for development through the CIIE characterized by openness, exchange, cooperation and mutual benefit.
The 7th CIIE, scheduled for November 5 to 10, has attracted participants from 152 countries, regions and international organizations, setting a new record with 297 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders expected to attend.
