ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Punjab government has allocated Rs 500 million to purchase bombproof vehicles for enhanced security of Chinese workers on CPEC and non-CPEC projects. The decision, recommended by the Punjab Inspector General of Police, aims to bolster protection measures amid rising security concerns. The Chinese Embassy in Islamabad condemned the attack, confirming the deaths and injuries, while authorities work to trace the vehicles involved. Airport operations remained unaffected despite the powerful blast.
