ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The United States has imposed sanctions on 19 Indian companies for allegedly providing military support to Russia during its ongoing conflict with Ukraine.
The sanctions target companies accused of facilitating Russia’s access to critical tools and technologies necessary for maintaining its military operations.
The U.S. Commerce Department states these companies have been instrumental in enhancing Russia’s military capabilities through technological support and resource provision. The restrictions aim to curtail the flow of strategic materials and technical assistance to Russia’s defense sector.
