PESHAWAR (PEN) : The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has made a significant change to the plan for its upcoming rally in Swabi.
According to party sources, the rally will now be held for just one day, with instructions for only workers from the Peshawar region to participate.
A public resolution will be passed at the rally, and there will be a final call for a march to D-Chowk.
Sources indicated that party leaders have advised the Chief Minister that spending resources on the Swabi rally would be ineffective, suggesting that holding the event in Islamabad would be a more impactful move.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had advocated for a three-day sit-in in Swabi.
A parliamentary party meeting held recently also set a target to mobilise one thousand workers from each constituency in the Peshawar region for the rally.
