ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday inaugurated a modern village for the food-stricken residents in Gilgit Baltistan’s Ghizer.
According to details, the premier had distributed the allotment certificates to the flood-hit people. On this occasion, PM Shehbaz said: “The situation was worsening, when I last visited Ghizer back in 2022 during the flash floods.”
“The entire village had been harmed due to the flash floods and torrential rainfall,” he stated.
The premier commended the efforts of the GB chief minister and concerned authorities to ensure the rehabilitation of GB people.
PM Shehbaz had emphasised the need for establishing the medical centers, play grounds and schools with the best facilities in the modern village.
‘Country’s economy on verge of revival,’ says PM Shehbaz
Few days back, the premier said that the country’s economy is on the verge of revival due to the efforts made by the incumbent government.
According to details, renowned business personalities from the United Kingdom called on the premier in Islamabad. On this occasion, it was resolved to further bolster the business-to-business relations between both Pakistan and the UK.
“It is the topmost priority of the government to promote foreign investment in the country,” said PM Shehbaz.
The prime minister added: “We are providing the best facilities to the business and traders’ communities through one window operation.”
PM Shehbaz had also given an invitation to the British delegation for investing in Pakistan.
Moreover, the British delegation commended PM Shehbaz’s policies to pave the way for a robust economy in Pakistan.
