ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Lahore’s Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Bilal Saddique Kamyana, has emphasized the need for robust security measures to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals in the city.
In a recent meeting to assess the performance of the Civil Lines and city divisions police, CCPO Kamyana instructed his team to strictly implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) designed to protect the Chinese community, underscoring the importance of their safety in all areas of the city.
He also called for comprehensive security arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow and effective parking management, particularly for the large public gathering in Raiwind.
Further, the CCPO stressed the need for intelligence-based operations to target drug dealers and ensure that anti-drug efforts are monitored closely by senior officers. He urged his team to focus on merit-based, professional investigations, with an unwavering commitment to justice for victims.
Bilal Saddique also highlighted the importance of leveraging both modern technology and human intelligence to track down criminals. As part of this initiative, he ordered a crackdown on mobile snatchers and motorcycle robbers, aiming to reduce street crime and increase public safety.
To enhance security in vulnerable areas, the CCPO approved the installation of security barriers in housing societies and parking areas, particularly in high-risk zones.
Finally, Bilal Saddique Kamyana called for a renewed focus on community policing, encouraging his officers to build stronger relationships with the public and adopt a more professional approach to ensure fair and just law enforcement.
