ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released an exclusive dressing room video capturing the team’s celebratory moments against Australia and words from key figures, including Head Coach Jason Gillespie, Assistant Coach Azhar Mehmood, and captain Mohammad Rizwan.
Rizwan delivered a strong all-around performance that showcased exceptional skill, particularly in bowling.
Skipper outlined his vision for the future, setting high goals for Pakistan cricket. “Our target is to win the Champions Trophy,” he declared, with an eye on future tournaments. Additionally, he hinted at an even broader ambition, expressing interest in a potential Olympics opportunity if it arises: “If there is an opportunity in the Olympics, I will make the Olympics a goal.”
In preparation for upcoming challenges, Rizwan noted that he’s actively engaging with each player to discuss improvement strategies. As for the T20 series, he made their aim clear: “Our target is to whitewash Australia,” a bold statement that underscores Pakistan’s growing confidence.
