ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Senator Ejaz Chaudhry, along with 19 others, were indicted in the Race Course case during a jail trial held at Kot Lakhpat Jail on Monday.
The hearing, presided over by a special judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), also saw charges framed against former Governor Umar Sarfraz Cheema and other key accused in the high-profile case.
The case pertains to alleged acts of violence and unrest linked to political protests.
