ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong met President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and China. The ambassador conveyed good wishes from Chinese leadership, including a card from President Xi Jinping, and expressed hope for President Zardari’s visit to China to strengthen ties further. In a separate meeting, President Zardari emphasized deepening parliamentary cooperation and high-level exchanges with Saudi Arabia during discussions with the Chairman of KSA’s Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad Al-Sheikh. Both sides highlighted the potential for economic collaboration and expressed solidarity with Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria amidst ongoing Middle East conflicts.
