ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Chinese company ADM Group has announced a $350 million investment in Pakistan, supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The plan includes establishing over 3,000 EV charging stations nationwide, with 1,000 in Sindh, 1,500 in Punjab, and 750 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Additionally, ADM Group will invest $250 million in an EV manufacturing plant and $90 million in charging infrastructure. The new EVs, with a range of up to 300 kilometers per charge, aim to reduce carbon emissions and lessen Pakistan’s dependence on traditional fuels.
