ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Beijing has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing and expanding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), highlighting the enduring strength of Pakistan-China ties. Speaking at the inauguration of the ‘China Corner’ at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), Ambassador Syed Tariq Fatemi emphasized the unique and resilient partnership between the two nations, which transcends differences in people and philosophies. The event celebrated the launch of Pakistan’s first dedicated China resource hub, featuring extensive materials to foster research and collaboration. Ambassador Khalil Hashmi and Chinese diplomat Shi Yuanqiang underscored the deep mutual trust and respect anchoring the relationship, with a vision of building a shared future. The ‘China Corner’ symbolizes efforts to deepen understanding and cooperation across diplomatic, economic, cultural, and educational spheres.
