ISLAMABAD : Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, expressed Pakistan’s commitment to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and emphasized the strengthening of bilateral relations with neighboring countries. She highlighted Pakistan’s desire for peaceful relations with all its neighbors, including East Asia and the Middle East. Baloch reiterated Pakistan’s participation in SCO meetings and emphasized the enduring strategic relationship between Pakistan and China, highlighting China’s consistent support for Pakistan. She further discussed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the joint statement that reaffirmed the importance of the China-Pakistan All-weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership amidst global challenges.
