ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Minister Ahsan Iqbal chaired a meeting to prepare for the 13th Joint Cooperation Committee (CPEC-JCC) meeting and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s upcoming visit to China, emphasizing its significance. Discussions focused on projects in energy, infrastructure, technology, and water resources. Ahsan Iqbal urged swift completion of tasks, including drafting a detailed agenda for the JCC and presenting three key plans for the PM’s visit. Notably, he emphasized the operational aspect of the New Gwadar International Airport. Security for foreign nationals was highlighted, with instructions to convene regular meetings of the Joint Working Group on Security. Attendees included high-ranking officials from federal and provincial ministries.
