Director Rafa Rashidi took to Instagram to share the exhilarating news, revealing that ‘Jaman Ka Dharam’ secured the coveted title of ‘Best Social Justice Short Film’ at the esteemed festival. The film, centered around the complex dynamics of a husband-wife relationship and the scourge of domestic violence, resonated deeply with audiences and judges alike.
Rashidi expressed heartfelt congratulations to the entire cast and crew for their dedication and talent in bringing ‘Jaman Ka Dharam’ to life on the silver screen. The film, penned by B Gill and produced by Faisal Kapadia, delves into poignant themes including gender dynamics, harassment, sexual assault, and the dark underbelly of lust.
