ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Moazzam Ghurki, President of PCJCCI, highlighted the significant opportunities CPEC will bring to Balochistan, emphasizing regional countries’ utilization of the corridor for trade. PCJCCI officials underscored Balochistan’s mineral and fishery potential, noting government efforts to harness it. They emphasized infrastructure development, employment generation, and provision of basic facilities, stressing the need for investments in various sectors. The government aims to uplift Balochistan socially and economically, with plans for dedicated spaces in Gwadar and Tashkent for warehouses. PCJCCI Secretary General expressed optimism that CPEC will address Balochistan’s economic and social challenges, contributing to its overall development.
