ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The Confucius Institute at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad marked International Chinese Language Day with vibrant celebrations showcasing Chinese culture. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan highlighted the institute’s decade-long success, boasting 5000 graduates in Chinese language studies and emphasizing its role in fostering academic and research collaborations with Chinese institutions. Stressing the importance of learning from China’s experiences in agriculture and economic development, he praised Chinese universities’ global competitiveness. CI Chinese Dean Dr. Zhou Changming underscored the enduring China-Pakistan relationship, emphasizing how the Chinese language serves as a bridge for cultural exchange and mutual learning.
