ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Following a meeting between a delegation from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan and President Asif Ali Zardari, a breakthrough has been achieved, signaling an end to the deadlock between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and MQM.
According to sources, the MQM delegation raised their concerns regarding the Sindh government during the meeting, and President Zardari has instructed Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Interior Minister to address these issues.
A meeting between the Sindh government and MQM leaders is scheduled to take place at the Chief Minister’s House to iron out the details.
Sources close to the negotiations revealed that both parties have agreed to work together for the betterment of the province and to maintain peace and order.
This breakthrough marks a significant shift in the political landscape, as MQM has decided to change its strategy regarding the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N).
