China has so far gifted Pakistan 3.5 million doses of coronavirus vaccines; CanSino, Sinovac and Sinopharm. In addition to this, China has also sent 200 oxygen generators, 200,000 masks, and a large amount of oxygen cylinders as donation. Moreover, Pakistan has been able to produce its own PakVac on the basis of Sinovac concentrate being given by China. All of this has helped Pakistan contain the spread of the disease, manage worsening cases of infection, and start its inoculation drive. However, Pakistan has also helped China during the initial outbreak when President Dr. Arif Alvi was the first statesman to visit Beijing and pledged Pakistan’s support.
