While talking to media, SAPM on CPEC, Khalid Mansoor has said that Pakistan is fully committed to CPEC and making it a safe avenue for bilateral trade and cooperation. Experts are of the view that at a time of changing regional politics, CPEC can help make the country’s future. They also believe that the sceptics of CPEC have also put down their false claims after seeing how fast CPEC projects have progressed. During the second phase, SAPM Mansoor has said that Pakistan will reach out directly to Chinese investors, in addition to the 40 small private Chinese companies are operating in the electronic, textile, construction-related goods and the auto sector. All experts and representatives from Pakistan’s government are of the view that the changing situation in Afghanistan should not affect CPEC’s progress and for this reason all-out efforts are being made to ensure smooth progress.
