ISLAMABAD (PEN): While talking to media, Federal Secretary of BOI, Fareena Mazhar said that Chinese companies are ready to invest USD 15 billion in Pakistan’s petrochemicals sector in Gwadar. Under this project, the energy pipeline from Gwadar to China will be built. Moreover, she highlighted that Chinese companies are investing in various other sectors such as energy, agriculture, tourism, etc. and that the government will promote SMEs for attracting foreign investment. She also added that the BOI is working on introducing 50 reforms to create an investment-friendly environment.
