Islamabad 23rd September: Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan had a day long visit of Peshawar. As part of the working trip to Peshawar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the President of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Sherbaz Ilyas Ghazanfar Bilour and the President of the Industrialist’s Association of Peshawar Mr. Malik Imran Ishak.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the current state of trade and economic relations between the two countries and the prospects for their development. Ambassador U. Totuiaev informed the Pakistani side about the export and investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The parties also discussed a wide range of areas in the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and issues of enhancing mutually beneficial partnership between the business circles of the two countries, in particular in the pharmaceutical industry.
At the end of the meeting, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan invited honorary members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Peshawar to participate in the second Kyrgyz-Pakistani business forum in Bishkek, scheduled for the current year.
