ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan and China have committed to collaborating on forest fire early warning, mitigation, and response using modern technologies. The agreement was made during a high-level virtual meeting of the two countries’ delegations in the framework of Pak-China disaster management cooperation. The Pakistani mission was led by Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Akhtar Nawaz, while the Chinese team was led by the Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation and Rescue Liu Weimin.
