ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Ahsan Iqbal, the Pakistani Minister for Development and Planning, met with Iranian Ambassador Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini in Islamabad. The two sides discussed the most recent developments in bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan, as well as economic cooperation, particularly in the sector of energy, and regional development initiatives, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Iran’s capacity to offer electricity, construction materials, and road construction in completing development projects, particularly economic projects like the CPEC, was emphasized by the ambassador.
