ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Ambassador Zhang Ming, the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore. On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif pledged Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s (SCO) goals to be achieved while under his leadership. The PM emphasized the importance of creating suitable finance mechanisms to support both intra-SCO trade and development efforts. The prime minister emphasized the importance of the connectivity agenda and the need to improve transport and communication ties, as well as the potential role that the CPEC may play in facilitating it.
