ISLAMABAD: The World Bank has acknowledged that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) presents significant opportunities for Pakistan. Through its implementation, CPEC has acted as a critical economic catalyst for Pakistan, providing essential development initiatives that are transforming its infrastructure, energy, exports, trade, transportation, agriculture, employment, medicine, information technology, mobile technology, and other sectors. CPEC’s achievements have earned it recognition in the World Bank Report titled “The Web of Transport Corridors in South Asia.”
